Terms of service
Last updated: 2026-05-28.
By creating an account with Kelohna AI ("the service") you agree to these terms. We've kept them short and plain; if anything is unclear, write us before signing up.
1. What Kelohna AI is
Kelohna AI is a personal AI day-planner. It generates calm, time-blocked days from your morning input, helps you work through tasks, runs a shutdown ritual at the end of the day, and maintains a memory layer of your patterns. It is not a medical device and provides no medical, therapeutic, or clinical advice.
2. Your account
- You sign in via a magic link sent to the email you provide. You're responsible for keeping access to that inbox.
- One person, one account. No shared accounts.
- You must be at least 13 years old (older if your local law requires it).
3. Subscriptions, trial, billing
- New accounts get a 7-day trial. A payment method is required at signup to begin the trial; you won't be charged until day 7. Cancel any time before then through Billing→ Manage and you won't be billed. If your subscription lapses afterward, the day-planner half stops accepting new days; your historical data stays readable and exportable.
- Subscription prices are shown on the upgrade page and at checkout. Billing runs through Stripe; we never see your card details.
- You can cancel anytime through Billing → Manage. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no mid-period refunds, but no surprises either.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service (e.g. using it to generate spam, attempting to exfiltrate other users' data, bypassing rate limits). We'll tell you why and how to retrieve your data if we do.
4. Regional availability
Kelohna AI is currently not offered for sale in Quebec. If your billing address resolves to Quebec, your checkout will be canceled and any charge automatically refunded within 5–10 business days.
5. Your content
Everything you write — morning ritual entries, journal text, task drafts, memory compartments, vision — stays yours. We store it to make the product work, generate plans, and surface it back to you. We never train AI models on it. We never sell it. We never share it with third parties outside the processors listed in our Privacy policy.
6. AI-generated content
Plans, task breakdowns, reshuffles, memory proposals, and stuck-button reset suggestions are generated by large language models (Anthropic Claude). The output is a suggestion, not a recommendation by us. You are the final decision-maker on what you do with your day.
7. Service availability
We do our best to keep Kelohna AI up, but the service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee any specific uptime, latency, or AI response quality. If the Anthropic API is down, the day-planner falls back to a calm offline plan; other AI surfaces will display a friendly retry message.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kelohna AI and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability in any 12-month period will not exceed what you paid us in that same period.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the "last updated" date and surface a notice in the app on your next sign-in.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Disputes will be heard in Ontario courts.
